ABOUT ME

I'm a current MFA student at Boston University in Film & TV Studies, a 2020 graduate of the Denver Publishing Institute, and prior to that, Trinity University (San Antonio, TX). My BA is in Theater and English, but I'm a lifelong learner at heart, so that's an in-progress list. I love pop culture, art, storytelling, and education, in whatever various forms I come across them.

I have worked as a tutor in two Writing Centers, at College of the Mainland (Texas City, TX) and now at Boston University. I also have experience as a Teaching Assistant for several BU courses, including an undergraduate Film Studies course.

In 2019-20 I was the Editorial Assistant at Trinity University Press, helping with several book projects including the recent Duchess of Angus. I was a teacher at Temple Beth El's Religious School, where I taught K-5 for several years. I also have a lot of theatrical experience: I have written, directed, managed, performed, reviewed, and done supportive research for stage productions. As a result, I have great writing and communication skills!
