"How Young and Innocent We Were"
This is a creative nonfiction essay I wrote about my childhood obsession with the 2004 film adaptation of Phantom of the Opera, originally intended for a monthly film blog's "nostalgia" prompt.

This is a creative nonfiction essay I wrote about working in theater, the perils of young love, and the healing power of music. It was published in 2019 in my university's literary journal, The Trinity Review.

Online Community
I also write some fiction, especially in online communities. This has taught me a lot about worldbuilding, deep-diving into lore, and writing in many different voices. I've also edited for friends and written collaboratively with them!
I also co-run one of these communities, which encourages collaboration and promotes small creators (artists and writers). We have hosted seasonal challenge prompts for its 200+ members since 2022, which I have helped dream up, advertise, and facilitate.
